Let's learn how to maintain the chain hoist to extend its service life

1. Daily inspection (Before and after each use）

• Check the chain:Check whether the chain is deformed、cracked、worn or rusted, is the connection of the chain secure and is the lubrication adequate.

•  Check the hook:Is there any crack or deformation on the hook? Is the anti-detachment device of the hook in good condition？Is the rotation of the hook flexible?

• Inspect the electrical components: Whether the power cord is damaged, whether the plug and socket are intact, and whether the control buttons are sensitive and reliable.

    2.  Regular maintenance(Depending on the frequency of use, usually once a month or once a quarter）

• Cleaning equipment:Wipe the surface of the chain hoist with a clean cloth to remove dust, oil and other debris, especially impurities on the chain and sprocket.

• Chain lubrication：Add special chain lubricant to each movable joint of the chain to ensure smooth operation of the chain and reduce wear.

• Check the brake system：Test whether the braking effect is good and whether the brake pads are worn. If the braking effect is poor or the wear is serious, adjust or replace it in time.

• Check the motor：Listen to see if there is any abnormal noise when the motor is running, touch the motor casing to feel if the temperature is normal. If there is any abnormality, stop the machine for inspection.

   3. Long-term storage and maintenance

• If the equipment is not used for a long time, it needs to be cleaned, the chain and other moving parts must be fully lubricated, and then stored in a dry, ventilated environment without corrosive gases, avoiding direct sunlight and rain.

• During maintenance, please note that it must be performed with the power off to ensure safe operation. If serious faults or damage are found, please contact professional maintenance personnel in time and do not disassemble the device yourself.
